O Curso Intermediário é destinado aos profissionais que já aprenderam os fundamentos e estão interessados em aprofundar conceitos e os processos da EM, proporcionando aos participantes uma compreensão do espírito e método, bem como a experiência prática. O foco principal neste nível de formação é aprender a EM por meio da prática.

Motivational Interviewing training March 14 and 15 via Zoom. 12 CEUs have been approved for Ohio social workers, counselors and MFTs. Intermediate Motivational Interviewing (up to 25 participants)

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach for therapists and non-therapist direct care staff. Learn practical application of foundational MI concepts and approaches that you can implement immediately. These approaches assist in efficiently and effectively developing rapport, meeting the participant where they are, and supporting mandated and voluntary participants toward behavior change.

In this course there will be a review of the underlying spirit, structure,and principles of Motivational Interviewing. This course invites and challenges students to look deeper, to do more complex reflections, and to give themselves more feedback. Participants will look at the skills that will help get clients to the ambivalence and the struggle. At the end of the course participants will Demonstrate and practice MI in action by applying MI in a live, recorded conversation.
