This is a two-day basic-to-intermediate motivational interviewing training designed for nutrition professionals. Other primary care health professionals will benefit as well. Highly interactive, small group workshop, limited to no more than 25. A mix of presentation, practice with partners, group discussion and short videos of counseling sessions. Also included is a pre-workshop on-line program. 18 CEUs for Registered Dietitians.

Motivational Interviewing 100 Workshop is aimed at providers with limited to no exposure to MI. Participants should include all types of psychologists, as well as providers from public health, counselors, LMFT’s, psychiatrists, NP’s, dentists, PT’s, ND’s, substance-abuse counselors, nutritionists, diabetes educators, and graduate students from any of these or collateral fields.

Motivational Interviewing Introduction Course

2nd & 9th of December. A two day course where participants will acquire a solid base of M.I. Theory, explore M.I. spirit, investigate opening strategies, intervention traps, negotiate resistance, develop and integrate skills and techniques to progress competency. This workshop will benefit professionals working with people where behavior change would be favorable.
