Effective Conversation Strategies That Make A Difference
Motivational Interviewing (MI) began in the 1980s when it was discovered that it was the worker’s style that mattered most in helping people make changes. It is a measurable, person-centered approach that provides a framework, along with skills and strategies for effective conversations.
Participants will leave this seminar with specific skills and strategies that they can put to use immediately.

Foundational Skills of Motivational Interviewing – Part I
Motivational Interviewing (MI), first described by William Miller (1983), and later elaborated in the classic book—Motivational Interviewing: Preparing People for Change (1991, 2002, 2014)—offers a practical, evidence-based approach for supporting clients in making and sustaining healthy behavior changes.
This full-day, in-person training will provide you with a solid understanding of the basics of MI and practical skills to continue your own growth.
