Working from and Evidence-Based Practice perspective, the training will be tailored to the participants to build up practical skills that can be applied immediately to better engage your clients, reduce your stress and burnout, and facilitate patients owning their change process.  There will be extensive focus on strategically responding to types of talk, cultivating deeper engagement and focus, with extra attention on developing measureable, person-centered objectives for an effective plan.

Live Streaming: Advanced MI 2hours/day for 5 days - 10CEs

Working from and Evidence-Based Practice perspective, the training will be tailored to the participants to build up practical skills that can be applied immediately to better engage your clients, reduce your stress and burnout, and facilitate patients owning their change process.  This live-streaming course is M-F from 1pm-3pm and includes 10 CEs in social work.  There will be a strong emphasis on fidelity-based Motivational Interviewing and moving basic concepts into practice looking through MI coding tools.

Live Streaming: Advanced MI 2hours/day for 5 days - 10CEs

Working from and Evidence-Based Practice perspective, the training will be tailored to the participants to build up practical skills that can be applied immediately to better engage your clients, reduce your stress and burnout, and facilitate patients owning their change process.  This live-streaming course is M-F from 10am-12-pm and includes 10 CEs in social work.  There will be a strong emphasis on fidelity-based Motivational Interviewing and moving basic concepts into practice looking through MI coding tools.

This is the third of three in the series which provides the opportunity to practice at every level and includes introductory, intermediate and advanced-level practice. Participants will have the opportunity to practice MI skills with the support of the trainer, using “role-play”, “real play” and experiential approach. Using presentations, videos and demonstrations, the trainer will guide participants in learning the important components of the spirit and skills for effective use of MI.
