Motivational Interviewing Fidelity Coding Training with the MITI 4.2.1

How do we know it’s really good MI? Motivational Interviewing trainers, Margo
Bristow and Onna Brewer, are excited to offer this highly interactive, online course
walking participants through use of the Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity 4.2.1
Coding Manual (“the MITI”) for fidelity coding of audio recordings. We’ll also practice
providing helpful and MI-consistent coding feedback for MI learners and discuss ways
to grow in coding proficiency and reliability.

MITI Coding for Feedback and Coaching

This is an online 23-hour workshop that includes 18-hours of live class with Dr. Hartlieb plus 5 hours of asynchronous learning.

23 CE’s accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) will be awarded

Cost: $450 per person

Weekly classes are on Mondays from January 15th to February 19th, 2024 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm Mountain Standard Time (US)

Ali Hall leads this workshop using presentations, readings, transcripts, audiotape, DVD and group practice. Participants will learn to recognize and categorize common elements of practitioner or clinician competence in Motivational Interviewing. Participants for this workshop should have experience in Motivational Interviewing and a desire to learn the MITI 4.2.1 for supervisory, training or research purposes. This course will include large group exercises and individual or small group coding practice.
