More About Me

About Me

My career passion is coaching people and organizations to implement innovative changes for themselves and their agencies for dramatic results. Helping to implement and integrate Motivational Interviewing into justice and human service agencies and community based reentry organizations has been a huge part of my life work and inspiration. I provide tailored coaching, training consulting and implementation support which blends skills of MI with other approaches including positive psychology and cognitive behavioral strategies. I am interested in extending training into practice through strength based coaching and skill blending in order to transform the way people work. In my experience, organizations that implement MI well can transform results for their clients, improve workplace culture, and re-engage staff by reducing burnout and reigniting purpose and meaning in their work. I achieve results through purposeful attention to  implementation and fidelity measures in order to ensure that great ideas translate into practice and achieve transformational outcomes.

I strive to build leadership and organizational capacity to create an environment that is supportive of change. I understand the dynamics and politics of how systems operate as well as the importance of addressing the loss that individuals experience through change which often presents as resistance.
