Motivational Interviewing Step 1 ZOOM

This facilitator-led course on ZOOM introduces the core principles of motivational interviewing and provides practice in the essential skills applied in a range of settings. It runs as 4 sessions 1pm - 4.30 spread over two working weeks.

We have adapted our usual two-day workshop for a virtual tele-conferencing format to provide participants with an opportunity to explore creative ways of integrating these approaches into an effective therapeutic intervention -- when to use, when not to use Motivational Interviewing. Motivational Interviewing is a client-centered, evidence-based, directive method for enhancing intrinsic motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence.
