This unique 2-day introduction training workshop in MI on April 5th and 6th 2025 will be preceded by:

• An online elearning module (asynchronous, 24/7 available), which introduces participants in the theory and practice of motivational interviewing. Learners can familiarize themselves at their own pace and in their own time with the spirit, techniques, and strategies of MI. Relevant research findings will be shared, as well as a few videos of example conversations.
• Participation in the 2-day workshop assumes the completion of the elearning module.

The 2-day training will be facilitated by Rik Bes (English) and Branka Bagaric (Croatian, English). 

The workshop will be followed up by:

• Four individual coaching sessions (of one hour per session) via Zoom, to assist participants in implementing MI into their daily practice.
• The coaching will be provided by Croatian-speaking MINT members: Alexander Kantchelov, Theo Wessel and Milos Rankovic

By designing this comprehensive MI learning program (elearning -> face-to-face workshop -> individual coaching) we hope to give the first group of MI learners in Croatia a solid basis and lots of enthusiasm to spread the learning of MI onwards in Croatia.
