Virtual Motivational Interviewing Training with Dr. Jonathan Fader

Are you ready to level up your conversations about change with your clients and patients?

Join Dr. Jonathan Fader and Amanda Fazio, CMPC, MHC-LP, for a highly engaging, day-long introductory Motivational Interviewing (MI) training led by two of the field’s most experienced Motivational Interviewing training leaders, with decades of impact across clinical care, performance, and leadership environments.

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, evidence-based approach to helping people change that emphasizes skilled listening, curiosity, and evoking a person’s own motivation for growth. It is widely regarded as one of the most effective methods for helping individuals move through ambivalence and toward meaningful, lasting change. During this training, participants will learn the core theory, principles, and fundamental OARS skills of MI and actively practice the technique, style, and spirit of MI through demonstrations, experiential exercises, and guided practice. The focus throughout the day is on how MI actually sounds and functions in real conversations. Participants will have extensive opportunities to practice through both role-play and real-play, supported by a standardized client who provides structured, actionable feedback.

This training is designed for professionals and professionals-in-training with no prior or some exposure to Motivational Interviewing, particularly those whose work involves supporting behavior change across healthcare, mental health, performance, and leadership settings.
