I live in Rochester Minnesota and work at the Mayo Clinic, in the Nicotine Dependence Center. I am native to Rochester, but have lived in other areas of Southern Minnesota as well as Kentucky for a few years. I really enjoy combining my passion for sharing Motivational Interviewing with my love of travel both domestically and internationally. I find that when I travel with open eyes, mind, and heart, I return having learned more about myself and where I am from than I do about the places I visited (and I learn plenty about them).
I provide Motivational Interviewing trainings both in the midwest and throughout the country as well a internationally on occasion. I use Motivational Interviewing in my work at the Mayo Clinic when helping people struggling with tobacco addiction and abuse. Motivational Interviewing is a the core of the counseling work I do.
