I am passionate about helping mental health and addiction counselors become more successful in their approaches and successful in their work with clients. I incorporate a variety of learning methods in my workshops to increase retention and understanding (audio, visual and hands on practice) of the material and techniques. I also like to work with leadership/management when implementing a training program for their counselors so we can take advantage of the organizational aspects to reinforce learning and using what was learned in the workshop at work the next day.
