Since first learning about motivational interviewing in 2003, it has remained the most useful and enriching approach to working with and being in relationship with other people that I have experienced. Through my desire to learn more about MI I have met some incredible people who have offered me their support, ideas, resources with a generosity I have not experienced before.
I am committed to building close networks among MINT members whose focus is on work in corrections and leadership. Corrections systems across the world have much room to improve in the way we help people change and grow. I’ve derived significant benefit from the support and encouragement of corrections focused MINT members like Michael Clarke and believe that sharing our work and offering each other support will take the collective effort further.
