I am the current CEO of WRAD Health an integrated health service combining general medical care with specialist programs to help people affected by substance use and mental illness. Mark is a mental health nurse with over 30 years’ experience who combines specialist training in the addiction field. My areas of passion is for the treatment of people with a dual diagnosis (substance use and mental illness) as well as the involvement of families in treatment.
I have worked over the southwest region of Victoria, Australia for mental health and substance use services. My specialist skills are in motivational interviewing and the approach of Acceptance Commitment Therapy and work with Families
I have done both training alone and with a co-trainer. The times I did training with Helen Mentha (MINT member) and at times I have co-trained with colleagues that were trained in MI by MINT members. I am excited to be a member of MINT and to be able to pay those experiences forward now to the next generation of trainers
