I am an Internationally Certified Addiction Professional (level II), a registered psychometrician, and a registered clinical psychologist. I am managing my clinic in the Philippines to provide psychosocial services.
I am one of the Philippine professionals as a Technical and Research Expert for the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Philippines, and the Department of Health for introducing evidence-based relapse prevention programs and treatment for rehabilitation centers in the Philippines. I worked with clients with substance use disorder as the Head of the Residential Psychology Section of the Department of Health-Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Tagaytay, to help them be integrated into society. I facilitate the drafting of workbooks for program sessions for persons who use drugs in Filipino and other local dialects, guidelines for service providers and standardized protocols of program sessions, and a training guide for master trainers, including a fidelity checklist and post-training performance monitoring procedures. I conduct assessments and therapy for clients with civil cases. I am an educator, a trainer, a facilitator, a regular member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines and Philippine Mental Health Association, and a freelance content creator on TikTok for mental health education, with over 612 thousand followers.
