I am a NY State licensed psychologist, director of the University at Buffalo Motivational Interviewing Center, and senior research scientist in the Department of Psychiatry, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo. I participated in the first Training of New Trainers, conducted by William Miller and Stephen Rollnick in 1993. I am certified as a provider of training in Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
