I have been in MINT since 2000. I provide several levels of training based on consumer needs including basic, intermediate, and advanced MI training, virtual training and followup coaching, telephone coaching for individuals or groups, and interview coding. I have been trained in both the MITI and MIA STEP.
The training design includes a variety of packages:
1 Day Introductory, 2 Day basic, Intermediate, or Advanced; 1 day skill building or conference presentations, continued coaching and follow-up fidelity management.
I am so pleased to be in the MINT community to continue learning from my colleagues and to enhance training skills. MI is the most respectful approach to change always making sure that a partnership is developed about their choice of behavior change and to resolve ambivalence.
