30+ years in behavioral health, 16 years in higher education, I have been involved with MI since 1995, and a MINT member since 2007. I have trained in a variety of settings with a variety of populations around the country and internationally. I am African American and receive very good feedback about my training approach, style, and competency. I earned my Ph.D. in education with a specialization in training and performance improvement from Capella University in August 2011. My dissertation topic was Socio-Cultural Influences on Performance Improvement in African American Nonporfits.
