I serve as a consultant with the Center for Practice Transformation at the University of Minnesota, focusing on implementation science and evidence-based practice integration for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. With a background as an LADC, LPCC-supervised clinician, MSW instructor, and clinician trained in Somatic Experiencing®, I actively utilize Motivational Interviewing in my clinical work and education to translate complex practice concepts into accessible, high-impact learning experiences.
I specialize in engaging national audiences through dynamic, tailor-made training that meets learners where they are. My training approach reflects the core spirit of Motivational Interviewing: partnering authentically, practicing acceptance and compassion, and evoking the wisdom already in the room. I bring warmth, responsiveness, and humor to every session so participants leave energized and equipped with practical tools to use straight away.
