Jeanne Louther is the Clinical Team Lead for the Opening Avenues to Reentry Success program at Journey Mental Health Center in Madison, WI. Jeanne has studied MI for the past decade and completed the UW-Madison MI certificate course in 2015. Since 2017, she has provided ongoing MI coaching of case manager colleagues as part of a statewide MI implementation project in community forensics. As a coach, Jeanne supports colleagues in learning MI to fidelity with integration into routine services. In 2021, she successfully completed the training of new trainers to become a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
I love training new learners. I always get excited when I hear people discovering MI for the first time and realizing its power to connect and inspire change.
