Dr. Heather Fulton is a Registered Psychologist who has studied, worked and volunteered in the area of mental and substance use health since 2002. She is the founder and director of Wayfinder Wellness Centre, a unique psychological centre that serves individuals, families, and professionals looking for evidence-based support in the area of mental and substance use health. With additional training and certification in approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Seeking Safety, and Community Reinforcement and Family Training, she works with people to seamlessly integrate Motivational Interviewing into their practice and roles- whatever those may be.
Dr. Fulton is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia. She is also responsible for Resident Psychotherapy training at a regional hospital located in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada.
