I have MINTie since 2002 and have over 33 years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment fields. I am the Director, Behavioral Health Workforce Developoment for University Health-Behavioral Health and previous was a co-occurring clinican at University Health-Behavioral Health working in an acute inpatient setting. Previously, I worked for 15 years at the University of Kansas, School of Social Welfare specializing in program development for agencies that work with severely mentally ill and co-occurring substance use disorders. I provide consultating and training throughoutthe midwest and nationally. In addition to Motivational Interviewing training and MISC coding, I provide training and consulation in Integrated Co-Occurring Treatment as well as training on a variety of topics including: Strengths Based Case Management and Evidenced Based Practice Supervision.
