I am a psychologist and associate professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in the School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, in San Antonio Texas. I am active in teaching psychotherapy skills, MI training, conducting psychotherapy, clinic administration, and research on psychotherapy and mental health services.
I have ten years of experience training healthcare professionals, researchers, administrators and students in various approaches to psychotherapy, counseling, and social cognitive remediation. As of Fall, 2019, I have conducted over 20 MI trainings, primarily to groups throughout Texas.
