I have over 16 years in the counseling and health promotion fields. For seven of those years, I have served as a trainer delivering evidenced-based practices locally and across New York State. I have delivered over 60 workshops to clinic and hospital health professionals in conjunction with federal grant initiatives. Holding a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a National Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling, my more recent career focus has been in the development and implementation of evidence-based practice and system change . My current endeavors involve the Study of Nutrition and Activity in Child Care Settings (SNACS), contracted work for the Commission for the Blind, family engagement, assistive technology and plain-language initiatives.
