I reside in the beautiful hills of Vermont in the Upper Valley and am happily bringing my practice of MI and training services to help create a healthy, safe community at Dartmouth College. I provide BASICS and other prevention programming to undergraduate students as well as conduct MI trainings for interested staff, students, and faculty.
MI was brought into my life during my MPH program at Brown University where I was part of a vibrant research community looking at the effects of MI on populations engaging in high risk drinking. I later honed my training abilities through working at the BNI-ART Institute where I was able to co-train primarily hospital and healthcare folks to utilize basic MI/SBIRT skills. I became a member of MINT in 2012!
Like most MINT trainers, I try to create a fun, exciting training atomosphere with the majority of time spent practicing skills. I also really like to tailor the content and discussion to the needs of the audience. If you would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact me!
