Brian has worked in the addiction field for over 30 years and is Client Programmes Co-Ordinator for a Dublin based Addiction Service. He is involved in counselling, group work, supervision and training. Brian completed his training for trainers in Spain, in 1999. He facilitates the M.I Module of the Diploma in Community Drugs & Alcohol Work, U.C.D., has provided numerous workshops on Addiction related issues and he is the MI trainer for the HSE's SAOR Train The Trainer programme. Brian is an accreditted Addiction Counsellor / Supervisor with the Addiction Counsellors of Ireland and a member of The Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. Brian was involved in the piloting of Community Detox initiative in Ireland.
