I am a 59-year-old New Zealand Māori male. My primary employment is as a clinical operations manager with the Salvation Army, focusing on addictions and mental health. I also have a small private practice offering psychotherapy, counselling, supervision and training. I have a particular interest in applying MI to Indigenous people.
I am available for 1x1 coaching and training in MI and for groups interested in applying MI in their therapeutic work. I am available for counselling work with clients experiencing addiction issues, mental health issues, and trauma. I am particularly interested in working with Māori, Pacifica clients and people of colour.
