My primary responsibilities are as a tenured professor at the University of Utah, I also own a clinic (www.cccslc.com), and partnered to launch a fully online training program (www.esympro.com) that has about 20 hours worth of training videos. I strive to make my trainings accessible to clinicians, caseworkers, casemangers, probation officers, and educators.
I have published several articles on Motivational Interviewing and supervise its implementation. MI is my passion because it revolutionized my approach to helping clients.
My online and grounded trainnigs emphasize the key, most powerful aspects of MI and present those in an accessible manner so that the ideas can be replicated across a variety of settings. I am particularly excited about the positive feedback from our online program, that the teaching is fresh and innovative and that the skills demonstration videos promote understanding.
