I am currently the Lead Clinician at The Steven Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors in Killeen, Texas. As such, I provide and supervise clinicians who provide Evidence Based Interventions to Pre and Post 911 Veterans and their families. I am licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Mexico and Texas I obtained my education at the University of Puerto Rico and the University of Nebraska, USA where I graduated with a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. My background includes management, supervision, training and research as well as the provision of integrated Behavioral Health services (SBIRT) in Primary Care Settings, School Based clinics, hospitals and Public Health Clinics utilizing evidence based treatment models for substance using adolescents and adults. I have been a member of the National Association of Social Workers since 1989, The Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1992 and The Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers Organization (MINT) since 2008. I provide introductory and Specialty focused MI and SBIRT trainings.
