Alan Lyme, MSW, ICADC, ICCS, brings respected and innovative clinical and program management skills as the Director of Training for the Phoenix Center in Greenville, SC. He concurrently serves as the Clinical Supervisor and trainer for the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) grant program in SC, following a similar position at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Alan provides trainings nationally on Motivational Interviewing, Clinical Supervision, and Skills on Working with Men. From 2000-2008, Alan held several positions at a major residential drug and alcohol treatment center in West Palm Beach, FL. From 2003-2008 he was the clinical director of the Center for Men’s Recovery, where he helped create a unique gender specific treatment experience and a pioneering therapeutic environment. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 1998 and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University in 1999. Alan is a MINT trained Motivational Interviewing trainer (2004), an Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor, and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Additionally, he is a Certified Master in Training for the Leadership Challenge Workshops.
