~~Therese Shumaker is the Program Director for Mayo Clinic’s Tobacco Treatment Specialist training program and has worked at Mayo Clinic for the past 20 years. She has her Master’s degree in counseling, is a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a Registered Dietitian. She is an adjunct faculty member at Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota, where she teaches courses on motivational interviewing and counseling skills to graduate students. She has presented on various tobacco focused topics both Nationally and Internationally. In her sparetime she is an avid and slightly competitive runner.
