In my current work, I lead and support multi-state learning initiatives within trauma-informed human services, developing curricula, facilitating professional learning, coaching trainers, and helping translate clinical, operational, leadership, and organizational priorities into practical learning experiences. My work includes Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed practice, leadership development, foster and adoptive parent education, inclusion and cultural humility, and workforce development. I am especially passionate about creating learning that goes beyond simply delivering information. I believe effective training should strengthen skills, challenge thinking, build confidence, and ultimately improve practice. My professional experience is complemented by longstanding work in education, child welfare, and community advocacy. A Licensed Social Worker and educational advocate for students with disabilities, I hold leadership roles with several community organizations serving children, youth, families, and historically marginalized communities. I hold an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Policy with a concentration in Social Justice from Boston College and am a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). My background also includes service as a Guardian ad Litem, foster and adoptive parent, parent educator, Certified Master Trainer, Situational Leadership trainer, and CPR/First Aid instructor. Across all of these roles, the common thread connecting my work is simple: developing people, strengthening systems, and advocating for environments where children, families, and professionals have the opportunity to grow and thrive.
