Yasyn Lee, MD practiced clinical psychiatry at a multi-specialty clinic, hospitals, and long term care facilities in the Dubuque, Iowa tri-state area for thirty years, specializing in geriatric and consultation psychiatry. Her clinical work also included staffing the local Medication Assisted Treatment program and close collaboration with the local substance abuse treatment programs. After retiring from medical practice in September 2022, she formed Yasyn Lee Consulting, LLC, to train and coach others in learning Motivational Interviewing, a skill that she found transformative to her own practice when she began using MI in 2014. She advanced her training and became a member of MINT in 2022. Dr Lee brings decades of practical real patient care experience and warm enthusiasm to training and coaching MI.
