I am a proud mother, a dog lover, and travel enthusiast. I am shy, yet social. I am a Training Consultant in the justice field. I have been training in Motivational Interviewing since 2010, having become a trainer in 2013.
With over 23 years of experience working with justice-involved individuals in both custody and community settings, I have a deep understanding of the complexities of the justice system and the people within it. I am currently employed as a Training Consultant with Justice and Public Safety in New Brunswick, Canada. My role is focused on supporting professionals in building skills that promote meaningful, client-centred change.
I would like to believe I am known for my genuine empathy, approachable style, and unwavering commitment to helping others grow. My work is grounded in a passion for client-centred care and a belief in meeting people where they are. I specialize in Motivational Interviewing, Risk-Need-Responsivity principles, ASIST training, and correctional practice, bringing both expertise and real-world experience to every training I deliver.
Outside of my professional role, I am a proud mother to a little girl, a devoted dog lover who never misses a chance to say hello to a pup on the street, and someone who finds joy in fashion, travel, and great food. My hope is that warmth and authenticity carry through in my personal and professional life.
