I am a Motivational Interviewing trainer with three years of experience helping practitioners strengthen their skills and deepen their connection to the MI Spirit. As a proud member of MINT living in Michigan, I approach both client work and training with a strong belief in the power of partnership, compassion, and autonomy.
Whether I’m supporting individuals in change or guiding trainees through their MI learning journey, I strive to create spaces where people feel respected, understood, and empowered. I value the collaborative process at the heart of MI and am continually inspired by the growth that happens when we lean into curiosity and shared humanity.
Outside of training, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on college football, and appreciating the simple joy of a good laugh.
My approach to Motivational Interviewing training is rooted deeply in the MI Spirit, which guides not only my work with clients but also my relationships with trainees. I believe that meaningful learning happens through partnership, where trainer and learner collaborate as equals; compassion, which creates safety and openness; and autonomy, which honors each person’s unique path toward growth.
As a MINT member and MI trainer for the past three years, I strive to cultivate training environments that reflect these values—spaces where curiosity is encouraged, voices are respected, and individuals feel empowered to develop their own authentic MI practice. My goal is to support trainees in discovering the transformative potential of MI, both in their professional work and in the way they connect with others.
