I have been teaching MI from a base in the Midlands, UK for over 25 years. My background is in health and addictions and I have worked in primary care, prisons and sheltered housing projects. I am currently Director of Pip Mason Consultancy Ltd. We run open and bespoke courses and offer consultancy in design of training packages etc. We also make DVD and CD Rom learning materials. I keep in touch with frontline practice by working part time as Senior Gambling Practitioner for Aquarius.
I believe learning is best when at least some of it is fun. I also believe we need to move out of our comfort zones somewhat if we are to acquire new skills and to do this we need a certain level of safety.
