I am an Licensed Professional Counselor with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked with people to assist with Mental Health and Substance Use changes, specializing in Criminal Justice interventions. I have also provided trainings to school systems and courts. The application of MI is endless.
I have had the opportunity to work on the Michigan Fidelity Assessment Support Team (MI-FAST) as a Motivational Interviewing Trainer since 2013. I also provided MI training to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Providers as part of the Opioid Crisis Response Program. Currently I am working with Community Mental Health and the State Court Administration Office to provide trainings throughout the State of Michigan.
