Hi! My name is Lydia and I currently work as a team leader for a drug and alcohol agency. I've worked in a variety of substance misuse settings (community, residential and outreach) and have loved all of it! I originally trained in MI as part of an Addictions Counselling degree back in 2012 and it transformed my practice straight away. I continued to train and have supervision in MI and my interest in it has continued to grow. Since then, training people in Motivational Interviewing has become a passion for me. I've been training since 2016 and joined MINT in 2018. I'm an energetic and fun trainer and I love finding ways of making training work for different organisations and contexts. I have a real interest in keeping the learning from training alive long after training has finished, which is why I started Bristol's monthly MI Club, a fun and informal place where people can refresh training and keep their MI flame burning!
