I am a Motivational Interviewing practitioner and facilitator based in Regina, Saskatchewan. My work is grounded in accurate empathy, collaboration, and deep respect for the wisdom that people bring into the room. With a background in addiction counselling and mental health, I integrate MI not only into my professional practice but also into how I move through the world.
I’m especially drawn to the relational heart of MI—curiosity, compassion, and the belief that people grow when they feel understood. I currently facilitate MI refresher trainings and strengths-based workshops for helping professionals and am in the process of developing additional reflective practice opportunities rooted in MI spirit.
As a trainer, I focus on cultivating a learning environment rooted in safety, curiosity, and autonomy. I believe that people learn MI best when they can experience its spirit—not just hear about it. My training approach emphasizes accurate empathy, reflective practice, and real-world application.
I strive to meet learners where they are, honour their existing wisdom, and create opportunities for growth through collaboration, gentle evocation, and experiential exercises. My goal is for participants to walk away feeling more confident, more connected to themselves, and more grounded in MI’s compassionate foundation.
