I have worked in the Criminal Justice and probation/parole field for over 30 years. I have Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Social work from Weber State University, and a Masters degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah. In addtion to being an MI trainer, I am a trainer in risk assessment, particulary the LSI-R and LS/CMI instruments.
After retiring from the State of Utah, Adult Probation and Parole, I accepted a position with Professional Probation Services.
I also provide training and consulting services to agencies around the United States in risk assessment and Motivational Interviewing.
Provide MI training, coaching and coding to Criminal Justice related areas including probation and parole staff, corrections, courts, substance abuse, as well as health and wellness fields. Introductory and intermediate workshops, coaching and coding services.
