More About Me

About Me

Over the years he worked as a Psychology Professor in a university and helped a wide variety of students improve their competencies by teaching them the different concepts in Psychology. In his years of teaching in the university, he has been involved in several researches about human behavior. Owing to his exposure in different researches, he has been trained by several research symposia to enhance his competencies further. Mr. Rufo underwent his clinical training in the Wundt Psychological Institute. Relative to his practicum, he performed different tasks that are relevant in the clinical setting. These include conducting intake & clinical psychological interviews, administering, scoring & interpreting psychological tests, assisting in the clinical management, treatment planning, and administration of cases. He also conducted psychological counseling and psychosocial support to clients and their families. His passion for mental health awareness inspired him to obtain my license as a Psychologist, which has driven him to pass the Board Examinations for Psychologists in the year 2018. He is currently working as a Psychologist II at DOH - Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Dagupan. He accomplishes clients' care by assessing treatment needs; developing, monitoring, and evaluating treatment plans and progress. In addition, I also help clients understand and manage their problems by identifying their strengths and available helpful resources. Whenever you're ready, "Kuya Karl, Your Mental Health Companion" will be here to help you in your journey for mental health wellness.
