My name is Helena Carlevald and i work as a HR-(Human Resource) specialist and educator in communication, coaching and management/leadership in Medical healthcare. There are four hospitals in the area. Our largest is a University-hospital and three smaller hospitals. It is totally 12.693 employees. I work with doctors, nurses, psychologists and managers in different levels and educate them in MI.
I also practice MI in my work with individuals and groups of people that want to make changes in their professional role.
Before this career I worked at Linköping University as a study-counselor and career coach. I found that MI was very helpful for my students in order to choose education, manage to graduate or find ways out of procrastination or stop drinking etc.
I also educated MI in single subject courses at the University in the department of behavioral science and in the psychologistprogram. As an MI trainer I also educated MI to other study-counselors in Sweden.
