Dr. DePhilippis is a clinical psychologist, licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and has more than 30 years of experience as a clinician, researcher, and educator, predominantly, in the field of addictions treatment. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1992 from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. He has particular interests and expertise in expanding access to evidence-based treatments of substance use disorder (SUD) and measurement-based SUD care. He is a nationally recognized subject matter expert in Contingency Management (CM) whose work in implementing CM has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and featured in media reports in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Scientific American, and National Public Radio. He is a trainer in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders. Dr. DePhilippis also is a Member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers.
