Instructors: Deborah Rice LMHC, LCAT, is a licensed mental health counselor and licensed creative arts therapist. With over two decades of experience in New York City schools and community based organizations, she works with individuals and systems to maximize potential, compassion, motivation and transformation. She has been a member of MINT since 2015 and is a faculty member of Pratt Institute's Creative Arts Therapy Department. Additionally she has a private practice in Brooklyn, New York where she has the pleasure of working with adolescents and young adults to address substance use, change and mental wellness. She provides introductory and advanced trainings in motivational interviewing, as well as ongoing tailored trainings for groups and organizations focused on implementation and sustainability.
