I bring 29 years of experience in field of social work, with over two decades focused on designing, coordinating, and implementing training and system improvement initiatives across Nebraska. At the Center on Children, Families, and the Law (CCFL), I currently serve as the Youth Homelessness System Improvement (YHSI) Grant Coordinator, leading statewide efforts to enhance and optimize systems addressing young adult homelessness.
Throughout my career, I have specialized in evidence-based & best practices including Motivational Interviewing, Reflective Practice, Wraparound, best practice case management, and Facilitating Attuned Interactions. My work centers on building collaboration across child welfare, behavioral health, education, juvenile justice, and court sectors to improve outcomes for children, families, and youth.
As a Motivational Interviewing trainer, Reflective Practice Consultant and Mentor, I support professionals working in social service serving systems to strengthen resilience, self-awareness, and emotional capacity in their practice. I am passionate about systems change, workforce well-being, and creating integrated supports that help young people and families thrive.
