With a background in Community Mental Health and advanced clinical work as a Child Mental Health Specialist, I bring frontline and leadership experience across youth, family, and outpatient behavioral health systems.
Prior to joining IFIOC, I was training and coaching within a behavioral health organization, supporting staff in developing MI skills in a direct service setting. I focused intently on integrating MI into practice, supervision, and system level implementation. After joining IFIOC, I expanded this work significantly training a broader range of professionals and providing MICA Coding and Coaching across diverse systems- including law enforcement, child welfare, and employment services.
I am passionate about contributing to the advancing measurable standards of MI competency to have a greater impact on the outcomes that all these complex systems serve. I am also a part of the team that launched Ascent Mental Fitness, and IFIOC clinic grounded in MI based, outcomes-driven care.
In my current role as Director of Operations at IFIOC, I work across training, coaching, and practice- while continuing to explore how MI can be operationalized effectively across complex systems and unique practice environments.
