What it is
Motivational Interviewing and Nonviolent Communication share a lot of DNA: deep listening, honoring autonomy, and real curiosity about what matters to a person. The Cafe is an informal hour where we put the two together on a situation someone in the room actually brings.
There might be a little curriculum and a few slides, but mostly it's interested people discussing how to help hard conversations go better. People who are brand new to NVC are welcome to join in.
We meet every other Thursday at 10am ET. If this date does not work, the next one comes around soon.
