2-day In-person CPD training workshop
Date: Thursday 13th and Friday 14th February 2025
This 2-day workshop will be of interest to people in diverse settings and circumstances where conversations about change are an everyday reality – healthcare, leadership, sport, coaching, addiction services and beyond. This workshop will build on introductory-level training in MI and support you to advance your skills. You will have opportunities to practice and receive feedback. The workshop will include a deeper exploration of:
- The spirit and intention – partnership, acceptance, compassion and empowerment with a focus on accurate empathy
- The core skills - OARS
- The four tasks – engaging, focusing, evoking and planning
- Deepening reflections
- Helpful advice-giving.
Cost £300, this includes:
- 2 full days of in-person workshop-based training
- All refreshments and food
- On-site parking (subject to availability)
- Post-workshop learning materials
