Motivational Interviewing Step 1 ZOOM
This facilitator-led course on ZOOM introduces the core principles of motivational interviewing and provides practice in the essential skills applied in a range of settings. It runs as 4 sessions 1pm - 4.30 spread over two working weeks.
The cousre is highly interactive using 'blended learning' and by the end of it people will be able to discuss the concept of motivation and relate it to a model of the ways people change, make a realistic assessment of a service user's motivation and use their own interviewing and counselling skills to unlock people's willingness and ability to act in their own best interests.
