Come and join Dr. Jennifer L. Smith in this high-level Motivational Interviewing course. Participants will attend a four-hour refresher training on May 8th and conduct 2 taped MI sessions with Standardized Patients on May 15th and May 22nd. Dr. Smith will provide individualized written and verbal feedback during half-hour phone supervision sessions after each practice session. This course is intended to assist in the development and augmentation of skills acquisition and to increase understanding and use of the MI approach. It is designed for people who have attended an introductory MI workshop previously and are already using MI skills in their practice.
