Motivational Interviewing Online Course

During this four-week online workshop, participants will learn: the fundamentals of motivational interviewing, the core OARS strategies of the motivational interviewing process, ways to identify and elicit change talk, as well as strategies for exploring and resolving ambivalence. The learning process is varied across several modalities, to maximize your opportunity to familiarize yourself with motivational interviewing as it can be applied in your practice.

The course includes participation in the weekly Discussion Board on our Guestbook and completion of a final assignment to make the material your own and improve your comfort level with application of the theory.
